Summer is officially on the way and we couldn’t be more excited here at Orange Naturals! Warmer weather means we can bring back the chilled drinks, start enjoying the outdoors, and enjoying time spent with family and friends out on the patio.
When it comes to cool treats, smoothies are one of our favourite ways to chill out, recharge, and escape the heat. A great smoothie wouldn’t be complete without a boost of multi-vitamins of course, and our ND Shakes are up to the task.
To help inspire you to enjoy more smoothies this summer (and beyond), here are a few delicious seasonably inspired recipes you can try this summer.
Feel free to tweak them and even add your own extras to make it just right for your taste buds!

Fizzy Electrolyte Pineapple Punch
With energy drinks still all the rage, sadly mostly amongst teens and young adults, we’d like to introduce a caffeine-free alternative that does wonders for your body. This fizzy electrolyte pineapple punch is just the thirst quencher you’ll need all summer long! Incorporating our MagPop!, a pure magnesium infused drink, you’ll get a boost of energy without the bad stuff.
- 1 MagPop! Sachet
- 1 cup chilled club soda
- 3 tablespoons fresh pineapple juice
- Small handful frozen berries
- Recommended – tiny umbrella
Add MagPop! to the club soda and watch it fizz before mixing in pineapple juice and finishing with added frozen berries. Top it all off with a tiny umbrella and escape to an island in the pacific!
Green Tea Watermelon Slushie
Summer is patio season, and unfortunately, that means sugary drinks make a huge comeback. Instead of heading to Starbucks for your usual iced latte, why not try a refreshing green tea watermelon drink instead? Loaded with nutrients and antioxidants for optimal health, green tea provides numerous benefits when consumed over long-term periods. Not to mention, it’s one of our favourite ways to detox daily! When you couple this ancient medicinal tea with refreshing watermelon, you know you’ve got yourself a winner.
- 1 cup chilled green tea
- 4 cups chopped watermelon
- ½ squeezed lemon
- 1.5 cups ice
Add all ingredients to a blender until desired consistency is reached.
