Emily is a mama to three beautiful children, Cameron, Elliott and Norah. Along with her husband, Brian and their family dog, this family of 6 currently resides on the Sunshine Coast in Powell River. Together, they enjoy spending their time exploring, enjoying and learning from Mother Nature.
Her journey of becoming a Birth Doula and Prenatal Educator began at the impressionable age of sixteen. That’s when Emily attended her first birth. And instantly, she knew that there would be an aspect of birthwork in her professional future. After graduating with a Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation and diplomas in both Disability Studies and Community Leadership, Emily ventured into the world of non-profits, which led her to find a passion for community outreach and engagement.
In 2014, Emily finally attended the Dona Doula Training and quickly went to work, making it her mission to attend Births. After having her own babies, Emily took a step back from the on-call work and started teaching Prenatal Education. She settled into the role of a teacher and continue to pursue that alongside breast and chest feeding support.
Or shall we call this – Family Favourites!
Mine include: Collagen Skin Revive Powder, Mag Sleep, and Lemon Balm.
My hubby, Brian loves the Joint Pain Cream; and my children, Cameron (age 5) enjoys the Calm for Kids, Elliott (age 3) benefits from the Sleep Tight for Kids, and Norah (4 months old) is currently loving the Kids D3 Drops and Colic for Kids.
I’ve always had an interest in wellness, but my journey in family wellness started with the birth of my son. At age 5, we are still on a constant journey of figuring out his health – he has a ton of energy, lots of aches and pains, and does not sleep well. My very first Orange Naturals product was Colic for Kids, and… it spiraled from there! I love that it’s all natural and Canadian. Orange Naturals makes us all feel loved in our own unique way with a product in their line for every person.
