I’ve just purchased Focus for Kids for my son. Just wondering how long after taking it will I notice some change?

A. Typically we suggest administering a remedy like Focus for Kids for two to three weeks to allow it the time to do its job in the body. Having said that, every child is different and depending on the underlying factors contributing to the child’s lack of focus and the child’s responsiveness to the remedy, the length of time for treatment will absolutely vary.

Orange Naturals Focus for kids is intended to calm and sooth a child, improving symptoms such as concentration and attention span, reducing restlessness and aggression and helping to settle an overactive mind. These remedies work in the most gentle way, so results are often quite subtle and often noticed once re-evaluated.

My one-year-old frequently wakes up in the middle of the night, all clenched up with gas pains. After about an hour of tummy massages she’ll pass a lot of gas and go back to sleep. She also tends to have reflux issues. Would you recommend your colic or digestion remedies to help her?

A. So sorry to hear about your little one’s gas pains! I would consider looking at our Digestion for Kids, as ithelps relieve burping, abdominal pressure, bloating, flatulence (gas), nausea, cramps and feelings of fullness or abdominal pain.

I must caution that it’s very possible possible that her symptoms could be caused by/related to food sensitivity. For the best course of treatment, please check in with your healthcare practitioner to help rule out this possibility, or a more serious GI cause. If this is the case and a probiotic is recommended, you might want to consider look at our Probiotic Powder for Toddlers to Teens. Probiotics can be helpful in digestive concerns and our powder form is quite easy to give to little ones.
