Dr. Emily Bennett, ND is a naturopathic doctor, activist, and advocate for eliminating burnout in the nonprofit and social service sector. She helps her patients find long-term recovery from their stress, anxiety, and hormonal concerns so that they can get back to dismantling the white heteronormative cis-patriarchy.
Emily first discovered naturopathic medicine amidst her own personal health issues in 2009. She was fascinated by naturopathy’s whole-system approach to healthcare that focuses on root causes, and this motivated her to shift careers. In her spare time, you can find her identifying and scouting out medicinal herbs in the woods and using them in her homemade tinctures and salves, as well as biking, hiking, and spending time in the kitchen.
